Meet Our Comfort Keepers®
Our team is uniquely qualified and ready to help
Every member of our team is professional and well trained. We conduct a thorough screening and interviewing process to identify the best home care providers, and only those who pass this process go on to complete training to deliver our special brand of home care and become Comfort Keepers®. What truly sets our people apart, though, is their natural gift for caring for others.
All Comfort Keepers pass extensive background checks and complete continuing education. They are bonded, insured and covered by workers' compensation insurance to protect our clients and their families.
2012 Comfort Keeper of the Year: Margaret “Marge” Battle
Marge has spent most of her adult life caring for others. Marge has five children, the oldest 48 and the youngest 38, and nine grandchildren. In June 2013 she and her husband will celebrate 50 years of marriage. He speaks of her adoringly for the love and nurturing she has brought to their family and describes her as a natural caregiver, a trait that has been evident in every assignment she has covered throughout her tenure with Comfort Keepers®. Over the past three years, Marge has touched the lives of thirteen clients and their families. Although each relationship is uniquely different, Marge has embraced each with determination, compassion and integrity. When Marge accepted her position as a Comfort Keeper® on July 3, 2009, her goal was to “Make people happy”.
Marge’s thirteen clients would be honored to know that she is being nominated for this award especially Father P, a Roman Catholic priest, who was most particular about his care and meal preparation. Father P had interviewed eight girls before accepting Marge as his caregiver and fondly referred to her as his “Little Miss Sunshine”. She had a calming effect on Father P, who could be a bit rambunctious. His brother and sister-in-law, who lived in Ohio, were forever grateful knowing Marge cared for him like a member of her family.
